Girls&Style, Girls&Beauty Workshop
Susan Huston Fashion Concept’s presents the oldest, most affordable and the best grooming, modeling and etiquette workshops for girls 8- to 16-years old in North Texas. Established in 1972, Susan has trained more than 38,000 girls in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
Girls&Style, Girls&Beauty is a workshop that teaches today’s girl practical and important beauty habits and proper etiquette, as well as providing a realistic peek into the world of modeling. Workshop classes spread out over a four week period and girls are grouped by age in two groups (8-to 12-years-old and 13-to 16 –years old).

Contact Susan Now to be placed on the spring 2013 call back list. Next class—February 2013! Susan will contact you prior to the class for the next spring session!

Class A: Basic Workshop (8-to 12-years-old): 10 a.m. to Noon
- Class B: Basic Workshop (13-to 16 –years old): 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Class C: Advanced Modeling (12-to 16 –years old*): 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
- *Girls who want the advanced modeling class need Susan’s basic course to qualify. For girls that have not taken Susan’s basic class, can enroll in the basic class from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m., take a 30 minute break, then join the 3 to 5 p.m. advanced modeling class.

- Spring Fashion Show: March 30, 2013, 1pm
Four consecutive Saturdays each spring at North East Mall, 1101 Melbourne Road, Hurst, Texas. Classroom located in the Nordstrom Wing across from Kidgets play areas. Classes will culminate with a spring fashion show near guest services at North East Mall at 1 pm, Saturday, March 31, 2012.
Schedules
In addition to instruction, attendees of the basic workshops receive a copy of the Susan Huston book, products, tip sheets, a photo shoot with a fashion photographer (photo purchases optional) and participation in the North East Mall Spring Fashion Show.

- Netiquette: Manners for a High-Tech World
- Runway Tips and Review for Fashion Shows
- Complete Skin Care Techniques by Skin Care Professionals
- Makeup Application (older girls only)
Students who take the basic workshop will receive:
- A book written by Susan
- Eight hours of training (2 hours per Saturday for 4 Saturdays)
- Product samples
- Tip of the Week information sheets
- Photo shoot experience with a professional photographer
- Participation in a fashion show featuring workshop students
Advanced Modeling
Attendees of the Advanced Modeling workshop receive advanced model training, tip sheets, the opportunity to meet and ask questions of a “working model”, a copy of the Susan Huston book, fashion photo shoot with a fashion photographer (photo purchase optional), PLUS informal modeling on the last week of class and the chance to model in a special routine in the North East Mall Spring Fashion Show.

Students who take the advanced modeling workshop will receive:
- Eight hours of training into the world of modeling (2 hours per Saturday for 4 Saturdays)
- Personalized look book
- Tip of the Week information sheets
- Instruction on mannequin modeling, runway modeling and informal modeling
- Opportunity to ask questions of a current working model as she speaks to the class
- Informal modeling in class and participation in the Spring Fashion Show
Cost/Register
The cost for the eight-hour Basic Workshop is $165. The cost for the eight-hour Advanced Modeling Workshop is $195.
